Repairs & service

Can you repair my bike?
Sure! In addition to rental, we also offer repair and service. From minor repairs, such as replacing an inner tube, to major repairs, such as a complete overhaul. Because we are primarily a rental company, we do not automatically accept every repair. Especially in the summer it is very busy and sometimes it does not fit. But don't worry, if you can miss your bike for a while, we'll do our best to patch it up as soon as possible!
-
How long does it take to repair my bike?
This of course differs per repair. If there is room immediately, a new inner tube will be fitted within fifteen minutes. However, especially in high season, it can take a while before we get to your bike. So if you walk in with your racing bike on a sunny Saturday morning for a new cassette, there's a good chance we don't have time. We will then make an appointment for when it is possible.
If parts are needed that we don't have in stock, we depend on our suppliers. We always try to give an indication and we will keep you informed if there are updates on delivery times.
-
How much does it cost?
We have a fixed price for a few repairs, such as replacing a standard inner tube. This normally costs €22.90. We always try to give a price indication, but sometimes we have to do some research to find the problem or the question is simply "check the bike". We then agree on a maximum price in advance, and if it turns out that we are going to exceed that price, we will call.
-
Do I get a temporary bike?
This is always possible. If you have an E-Bike repaired in the summer, it is possible that all our own E-Bikes are rented out. Then you get a regular bicycle. Better than nothing, right?

Can you assemble my self-purchased part?
Yes, no problem. Of course, subject to the condition that you have the right part and that it is a reasonable option. We sometimes see that someone wants to have a new cassette fitted, but does not want to replace the chain. Because these parts wear into each other, it makes no sense to mount a new cassette without a new chain. In such cases, we may deny your request for your own good.
