• How much does renting a bike cost?

• Is my reservation final when I book online?

  No, besides our flexible cancellation policy there's a cooldown period of 48 hours after reservation. In that period you can change everything about your booking. We'll always confirm your reservation.

• Do I need to book in advance?

  Well, we would advise it! Especially weekends can be quite busy. Furthermore, booking in advance is a sure way to be on your bike faster and you'll enjoy early bird advantages!

• Can I still change my booking?

  In most cases, not a problem at all. Our conditions are flexible and with your reservation ID and email you will be able to login and request a change easily. We do advise to phone us about changes when your rental period starts within 5 days.

• Do I pay (hidden) extra's ?

  We're not so fond of those things. Extra's such as a lock, bikebag and basic insurance (details in our conditions) are always included in your rental. It's also free of charge to ride shotgun on the back of a scooter or Vespa.

• Do you have a bike to fit my length?

  Our selection ranges from bikes for four year old kids right up to adults of 2 meters.

• Which bike am I to rent?

  We've got a wide variety of biketypes; from sporty to comfortable. For example; would you like to relax on your bike? Then reserve the 7 speed citybike. Would you like to relax even more? Then go for an 'assisted' bike such as an e-bike, scooter or Vespa. Just a tip; the scooter and Vespa are mechanically identical - but the Vespa looks a lot smarter! The original Vespa also rides more comfortably when occupied by 2 people.

• Do I need to wear a helmet?

  A helmet is not obligatory inside the Netherlands. We do recommend you to wear a helmet on a racebike or mountainbike. You can bring your own or rent one.

• Where can I pick up my bikes?

  Cycle Center has 2 main locations and multiple support locations. Our support locations also have a selection of our bikes and some of our services available.

• Do I have to pay a deposit?

  Yes. The amount of the deposit depends on what you rent. For example, for a touring bike it is €50, but for a Vespa it is €150. If you rent more, this amount can increase.

  The guarantee is intended for minor damages. If everything is ok., you will get the deposit back when you return the bikes. If you return outside opening hours, we will transfer it when the bikes have been collected. We will then need your IBAN.
